Derrick the founder and game director of Waking Oni Games and an Assistant Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University. He has contributed to various indie titles and education games. His goals center on the provision of resources and funding for more Black-led teams.

Cara Hillstock is a narrative designer, where she works to create and integrate narrative with other gameplay systems. Her role includes writing and scripting scenes as well.

Ashlyn Sparrow

Ashlyn Sparrow currently works as a programmer at Waking Oni Games and Assistant Director of the Weston Game Lab at the University of Chicago. She has worked on scholarly board, card, and digital games, public health apps, the development of serious games, interactive learning experiences, and digital media art with youth and for youth.

Chelsea is a 2D artist working as a senior illustrator on FX's Archer. She spends her free time playing TTRPGs and reading comics.

Kyle Cronin (He/HIm)
Kyle Cronin is a 3D artist whose work primarily focuses on character art. He is a recent graduate from Sheridan’s Bachelor of Animation program in Canada. He enjoys animation, 3D modeling, life drawing, and 3D printing.

David Cherry, aka “DataDave”, is a Voice Director, Twitch Ambassador, and College Professor. He has worked on various gaming and commercial projects.

Dorrell is a composer and sound designer with previous contributions ranging in 3D animation and games. He is heavily inspired by Japanese composers and aims to capture that sound in his work.

Haruhi Kobayashi

Haruhi is a “sound person” primarily through the form of an audio engineer, sound designer and experimental vocal-and-bass-noise performer from Tokyo, currently based in Chicago. She loves anything with a good soundtrack and will obsess over a long list of side quests.

Brittany A. González, a.k.a "Briggsy," is a producer and jack of all trades. She is a published comic book writer (The Color of Always), respected journalist (Polygon, Esports.gg, Catalogue), host (Queer Women of Esports, Activision/Blizzard), and content creator.
